Description:
Travel to "south of the border" and experience the tradition of celebrating "the Days of the Dead" Dia de los Muertos" which occurs every year on November 1 and 2. Create artworks inspired by the culture and music of Mexico. Decorate a skull made out of sugar, design and create an Amate bark painting, sugar skull masks, papel picados: cut paper, and paper skeletons. Listen to some Mexico/Latin America inspired music and learn a few words in Spanish. An additional supply fee of $20 to be paid to the instructor. Class offered in Fall I only. Ages 8-12 $98/$88
